Is wearing a face mask affecting your O&M skills? (docs.google.com)

Hell I'm sighted and they throw me off because they don't fit well with my glasses. Between the weird fit with my glasses, my glasses always fogging, the constant hot air, and the anxiety around being around people my processing is often delayed a bit.

You may be wearing the mask up side down. Your breath should not be fogging your glasses.

I'm definitely wearing mine rightside up (metal band over the nose), but it doesn't confirm perfectly to my face, so the moist air easily sneaks behind my glasses. Not so bad now that it is warming up, but a pain in the butt when it was cooler.

They're homemade masks that I can wash so they're a little bulkier. But that's an important consideration for people wearing commercial masks!

I have pretty perfect vision, don't wear glasses, and I am definitely experiencing some stuff like that too. Mine is definitely all emotional/mental health related.

I can't imagine experiencing the challenges I have heard about from the people I know who have vision loss.

The survey is built to accept responses from everyone so when I think of how to put my experience into words I'll probably fill it out.

Perhaps I missed the question, but I wonder why the servay does not ask if one uses echo location while walking.

The survey above is circulating through my friends and clients on Facebook and I thought I'd share it here to help get more responses 🙂
