My dad needs help. (self.Blind)

My dads childhood friend had an accident or something and suddenly went completely blind. He wants some advice on how he can help her out or what he can do for her that’s actually helpful as she is having a hard time transitioning into her new way of life. Thank you for any and all comments!

Contact blindness agencies and/or state departments for the blind to get training in nonvisual skills. They must still be offering some training virtually.

Offer to help with transportation (Once social distancing isn't an issue) and doing small arins for them like grocery shopping. I'm visually impaired and it has meant so much to me that my family and friends are willing to drive me places.
