If you have access to Aira, I know they can assist with nav on crowds, possibly also Be My Eyes app (which is free). Also first 5 minutes of Aira cals are free. I have used Aira for this.

I guess my question was more directed towards how one deals with the stress of being in crowded places when people won't move for you. Or , tips on how to navigate crowds without getting frustrated /nervous about people not moving.

No big crowds since Covid. Before even in NYC on visits when I used white cane, folks would part. That is When they saw me and cane coming. If they saw me and cane late, they would jump over it amd/or get tangled. My O&M teacher said in big crowds, e.g., NYC street crossings midtown, to shorten up on cane.
