Hello, I am a sighted person who is a fan of YouTubers Markiplier and Crankgameplays. Mark and Ethan made this video for their YouTube channel "Unus Annus" and I wanted to accommodate with a voice over -- please offer me feedback if you're interested in watching. Thank you :) (youtu.be)

You definitely need to learn how to balance your audio because it’s very hard to hear what you’re saying.
As for cooking, I’d make sure I new where everything was before starting.

This channel is mostly comedy so I’m sure they weren’t taking it as seriously as they could have.

I like how mark gets a long description and Ethan is just a nerdy white guy :p

Thank you for the feedback! I edit film for fun, and audio has always been something I've struggled to edit. It's definitely my work-in-progress skill

That is a good point to establish the genre as comedy and cooking -- I hadn't thought of that

Haha! I realized that, too, as I was editing in my audio clips. Sorry, Ethan! You deserve a better description

I’m a huge markiplier fan and to know one of his and evens videos is described is amazing!

I listened to a bit of the video and think you’re telling us a bit to much. For example Ethan tells Mark to open the fridge and then you tell us that mark opens the fridge, in my opinion this isn’t needed.

I’d recommend you type audio description into youtube and check out some videos.

Doing more of this would be amazing, the escape room video would be cool.

I’ll listen to the wrest and make another comment.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I was also worried about overdescribing / information overload.

it's ok, if you look up audio description rules; I'm sure you'll find something that could help you out.

Thanks for doing this! It's very kind for you to think of the blind community. No matter the content, if it's something you're interested in and wants to share it with the blind community that's very kind of you!

The audio descriptions are intelligent and spot on! It can be distracting trying to hear your voice underneath Markiplier and the other actor. Maybe using YouDescribe can help with that?

Either way thanks for taking the time to share a cool video!

Thank you for also recommending YouDescribe. I had no idea something like that existed, and I'm excited to research it!

You can add audio description to YouTube videos with YouDescribe. It automatically lowers the video audio during descriptions and allows you to pause the video to add descriptions when they can't fit into the standard runtime of the video.

That is amazing technology that I didn't know existed. Thank you so much for sharing!

Uhh this just seems stupid to me as far as the video your describing.

for improvements have your Iration at a natural speech rate.
for me it was a bit hard to understand some of the description when it was sped up.
fade the audio slightly for some of the description. Couldn't hear you when some of the guys where talking.

Other wides I loved the audio description

Thank you for the feedback! I did lower the volume a little bit when the guys were talking, but it does sound like I was too quiet.
Thank you also for the note on speed
