Hey guys. Not long ago I have started seeing, though very unusually, quick flashes of light. Do I suffer from Posterior vitreous detachment or Retinal detachment? (self.Blind)

We're not qualified to give you a medical diagnosis here. You need to see an ophthalmologist as that could potentially be a retinal detachment.

It is best to seek medical advice from your ophthalmologist. I would not recommend seeking a diagnosis here. You'd be better off booking an appointment with your doctor and going from there

Go to the doctor taking appropriate precaution.

Could be retina detachment but it could also be a migraine, not all migraines have the pain with them

Yes. I have ROP and severe retinal scarring. I have a lot of floaters. Months ago I had a spot on the bottom left corner. It looked like a big flash of light. As if I had started into s light and looked away. I scheduled an immoderate appointment with my ophthalmologist. He didn’t see any damage but the scarring on my retinas and nystagmus made it hard to tell. He came to the conclusion that I had a floater tugging on my retinas. That was the only thing it could be.
It went away after a couple of days.

You mean, after surgery?

I have no floaters, just flashes. But I look at the computer screen a lot. I work there and play games and all. Does that makes matters worse?
