Who Still Uses Team Talk (self.Blind)
submitted by 322lancer
So, just recently I was introduced to the platform Team Talk, which, before Discord became a thing, was the most effective way for gamers to communicate. How many of my blind peeps here still use TT over Discord? If you use both, which do you prefer?

I like it’s simplicity. Discord might be more popular, but a lot less accessible.

I don't, though I don't use discord too much either.
Gotta admit aside from the interface I'm not too big a fan of tt. Discord although less accessible has more servers. And were living in a sighted world so the problems with its accessibility can be dealt with in my opinion lol.

I don't personally use TeamTalk all that much, but I still know a lot of friends do. Discord still seems like it'd be quite new to them. I kind of like Discord, I've had to use it for other things, and I predict if they don't borke the accessibility it'll overtake TT eventually.

In fact, I host a server and offer anyone a server hosting for 1 dollar a month.

I don’t know if it’s a problem or if it’s the fact that I have so much going on in my head but lately it’s been that case, but when I have been working I haven’t had any problems, I had just spoken to a blind friend and she told me that her doctor stated that she has non-24 I am going to do a special on that on my talk show

Oh yes! I love TeamTalk! It’s one of the best things in my life. I get to hang out with friends that are not near me and we have great times on it. I really love how simple it is and how accessible it is as opposed to discord.

Some people are switching to discord, but a lot refuse to use it because the audio is mono. I don't really understand that logic myself. I don't need to hear people in stereo, and I really don't get why others do. That aside, yes, it's still quite popular.
