Honestly I’m just worried for public transportation. It’s so strict in my area that I just can’t use it. That genuinely scares me, I’d be nothing without public transportation. Grocery shopping is another problem entirely. I’m just hoping the situation will be over soon.

Can you get groceries delivered? Maybe instacart or something like that?

It’s super expensive ln my country, especially with the current situation! It’s like an extra $15 on a cart and that’s too much for me as a student.

COVID-19 won't be a problem forever. Eventually restrictions will lift. You just need to hope that that time comes soon.

It sucks. There's no real way around it. Someone else pointed out that it won't be an issue forever, and that's true, but for right now, it makes life exponentially more difficult. I use grocery delivery and just eat up the extra cost (ugh) and don't leave my house except when I absolutley have to do. Tbh I see this being the way for the blind community until there's a vaccine--no matter what, we touch things more than sighted people, which makes us more susceptible. Plus there's always that chance you take a wrong turn and need sighted help...even if it's a .0001% chance, it's still a chance. I hope others are more optimistic than I am.

You can try instacart if they offer that app's services in your area. It's an excellent delivery service
