Hi, I'm a sighted person posting on behalf of my blind friend, Razz. Razz is a blind artist and educator who has earned a BA in special education and is on their way to earning a Masters in order to be able to teach the blind and visually impaired travel and independent living skills. They've done a lot of good work in their community but as of right now can't afford to move into a new apartment when their current lease is up without help (their monthly SSI payment isn't enough).


As of right now they'll be homeless at the end of July if they can't raise $4000. If they are forced into a homeless shelter, they'll have to give up their guide dog, Petey. They are currently on several waiting lists for low-income housing but nothing will be available in time.


Four thousand dollars is an extremely reachable goal in the time provided, if the donation page crosses enough people's paths. If you can't donate, please share; every little bit helps.
