I'm quite intrigued.
Louise Braille invented the Braille System. Abraham Nemeth made the Nemeth Code of math using the Braille System. There was a blind doctor in India in the 1920s.
There're are quite a few who made apps and software. They can count as inventions.

I think the guy who invented cruise control was blind.
