Seeking Blind or Low-Vision Participants for Paid Online Study in June (self.Blind)
submitted by kimchan
(Please feel free to forward this invitation to any people you think may be interested. Thank you very much!)

Greetings, We are researchers in the Center for Accessibility and Inclusion Research at Rochester Institute of Technology. We are studying how to make the technological design process more accessible to blind and low-vision people. To explore accessible ways of brainstorming design ideas, we are looking for participants to join our study.

If you are over 18, identify as blind or low vision and enjoy crafting activities especially with others, you may qualify for this study. Participants will be interviewed through audio or video call about their crafting experiences. The interview will take about 60-90 minutes to complete. Participants will receive $30 upon completion of the interview.

If you are interested in participating in our study, have any questions or concerns please contact wluebs@mail.rit.edu<[mailto:wluebs@mail.rit.edu]>. Thank you!

the big difference would be what are the circumstances around our/my cause of blindness and as you point out the varying level. Born blind or early/infant blind vs. adult onset or accident related blindness(me) again is a whole different use of memories and or current limited vision.
