I read a bunch of blind people on Twitter complaining about it. The basic thrust of the complaints seems to be that the adaptations make the play uneven and blind players don't get to have a comparable difficulty with the game. I think these complaints are a bit silly.
I can't argue with the points on whether this makes the play balanced or not (I'm not much of a gamer and it will be hard to tell until one plays it), but adaptations are likely not to ever be 100% faithful, because in the end, when you lack one sense modality, you can't emulate this perfectly with others. Different difficulty settings and play challenges are perfectly acceptable so long as the game experience is good, in my opinion. It seems a bit like complaining about a motorised wheelchair because walking should take effort.

I'm probably not going to like this answer but do I need a PS4 to play this?
