How do i make my youtube channel more inclusive? (self.Blind)
submitted by safetycookie
So I want to create a youtube channel about videogames, which are very sight based and i'm concerned about accesibility, I would like to make videos as accesible as possible and to everyone, but that requires a lot of time specially in the learning curve and I don't want to be overwhelmed, so i want to start simple (with sound cues for sections) and hopefully evolve to a more inclusive style, but my question is: Do you consume or know someone that consumes videogames videos? and If so, what could be improved and from what category? because is not the same a discussion video to a gameplay video? but in general I just want to know things that you would like that videos had.

If somebody can't see your video, the more you can describe the game and what you're doing as you're playing, the better.

Some gamers read on-screen text and provide audio description of what they're doing.
