Here’s one resource that I know of.

Edit: Perkins actually has a few resources that may be helpful.
Used to have a braille book with tactile pictures of planets and other things in space. I loved that thing. Was called touch the stars I believe.

There was this book you could get him George's Secret Key to the Universe, written by Stephen Hawking and his daughter Lucy, , sort of teaching kids science about space type of book.
When I was young I loved Magic School Bus and Bill Nye Science Guy for all things science.
Once Covid19 is over though you should see about taking him to a museum or science centre, I loved those places and usually there's an option for an audio tour through headphones, or IMAX movies to watch.

There are many child-friendly books about various aspects of astronomy and outer space that he should be able to borrow from a library for the blind. He could then ask you questions about things that interest him or that he doesn't understand.

The library for the blind in your country. In the US, it's NLS (https://loc.gov/nls). In the UK, it's RNIB. In Canada, it's CELA. In Australia, it's Vision Australia. And Bookshare is a library available globally that he should also join.

Commenting to come back to this when my brain isn't mush. I'll add some ideas if no one else has covered it.
