What size computer monitors do you use? I have a 24 inch even though I mostly use a screen reader.

I actually got a 47” 4K TCL TV I use as a computer monitor. I set it to 1080p output on my computer. This gives me the big buttons and text from the lower resolution output, but gives me the resolution on the panel so it doesn’t look grainy.

I have a 24-inch monitor from back in my sighted days, but now I exclusively use screen readers. I sometimes turn it on for comfort, since I still have light perception, but it mostly stays off unless I'm trying to confirm if my machine threw a BSOD or if I need sighted assistance.

I use 29in ultrawide.
It's the best compromise I could find between having enough screen real-estate for laying out my software in a way that I like and minimizing the amount of head turning/tracking.
I'd love to be able to use two monitors, but I'd lose the mouse between them too easily and I'd be turning my head constantly due to my narrow visual field.
That's also why I don't use a monitor larger than 29in.

Have you tried using virtual desktops? It's the next best thing to multiple monitors. Windows 10 will even have separate task views for each desktop so you can keep separate, parallel workflows organized. I'm currently using three: one for internet and social stuff, one for file browsers, and the third for my email clients.

Yeah, I use four of them currently LOL, one for browser/slack/misc. stuff, one for terminal windows, one for my IDE, and one for database tools.

Honestly, the cheapest one that’s still functional that I’m able to find. I am a Jaws user. The only reason I even bother to have one is for the times I may need sighted troubleshooting from my wife. The one I’m currently using is 19 or 21 inches I think. My wife says it has a yellow tint to it. I’ve had it for roughly 4 or five years and paid something like seven dollars at the Goodwill for it.

I am still using a 19-20 inch 4:3 one, which I have been using for 14 years!
I want to get a new one and can't decide if it's best to get 24/27 since I get right up at it to read or if MAYBE I could get slightly farther from it if I get a 32 inch. My concern is if I get a 32 I may not be able to get any farther and then I'd have to move my head too far from side to side reading it...

Mostly 24 inch when I could see better. Now it really doesn't matter, though I doo have a 32 inch TV hooked up, though it mostly remains off.
