I can't choose post flare? (self.Blind)

Hey everyone. So I've run into this issue a few times now. Perhaps somebody has a solution?
I'm using reddit classic or old reddit on Windows 10 with Jaws 17 or the latest version of NVDA. (I haven't tried it using Mac OS yet.)
Anyways, I want to post in a few subs that require the poster to choose a post flare. I'm guessing that's a picture or icon or something?
In any case, all my screen reader says is choose flare, none, and the select button.
Is there some sort of workaround for this I haven't figured out yet? This is really frustrating.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

no it is not a picture it is a radio button and it works fines for me. using JAWS 2020 with Google Chrome 83

It's a flair under the post informing people who read it what kind of post it is. E.G. r/blind has several, technology, discussion, advice, etc. It's right underneath the heading, and appears as a link. You may've noticed it.
I don't know about old reddit but the standard reddit works for sure no issues here. Running NVDA
