Question regarding blind people and their dreams (self.Blind)
submitted by hanzowu
I posted this question /r/askreddit but bot suggested I redirect my question here.

If you've been blind your whole life, is anything "visualized" in your dreams? If so, how does your brain know how to visualize something if you've never seen it before? If you or someone you know can explain this, that would be much appreciated. Thank you.

My girlfriend has been blind since she was 2, so she has no memory of being able to see, and this is what she said:
"I dream more experiential-ly, more of feeling and sound and thought, than anything else."
Hope this helps to answer your question!
