I dont fancy explaining myself in other groups. As soon as people learn I am deaf and blind. A whole bunch of repetitive questions follow and a few trolls. So I keep it within my community of blind folk. Anyway, this was for you guys.

Sadly, hearing and visual impairments makes it quite challenging. I know within the next year I wont be able to use technology much longer. Lost too much hearing and sight. All I can do is ask for patience and understanding.

I hope I can empathise a little. I see the challenges of just blindness every day in someone I know. The nearest we've come to the challenges of blindness and hearing loss combined is when I lost my voice and they couldn't read the notes I was writing. It certainly adds an extra layer of frustration when disabilities combine.
Patience and understanding are offered. I understand why you prefer this forum for your offering. I'll look out for your next one.

Thank you, it is challenging. But I get on the best that I can. I call whats happening to me as slipping into the void. Sight and sound is leaving me. My hardest challenges is getting others to understand. My family is the worst. Believe it or not. Despite my challenges. Im moms carer. We get no help or support so we just do what we can.
