Hi I had a question. (self.Blind)

Well a very small percentage of people who are registered blind are completely blind. Many of us still have remaining, usable vision where context would not be lost. Some of us also lost vision later in life so we already know how to "speak" per say. But if you're referring to people who are completely blind, they can hear subtle differences in other people's voices and from that, form context. You can hear it in someone's voice when they're mad or sad, you don't need vision to recognize this stuff.

I understand that but things like people not in a room, or animals if they have never touched one, how do they gather the concepts?

I mean they still go to school and learn things just like everyone else. I don't know about you but I learned about different animals when I went to school.

Most often if someone is leaving the room or entering the room where they know a blind person is, they will straight up tell the blind person they are entering or leaving. Molly Burke, a famous blind YouTuber mentioned this in one of her videos.

Ou also, Tommy Edison, another famous blind person, said that he was able to understand the concept of space and the planets and the stars just like any other kid in school. He explained this in a YouTube video.

My Godson has two glass eyes. I taught him to read with braille books.

Let me point out that science has already established that the language development starts when baby is still in the womb. Quick googling taught me that unborn babies are learning from their mothers talk during the last 10 weeks of pregnancy. In other words, even the sighted kids start their language learning without any visual context.

After the birth things can get more complicated though, but I think language skills themselves aren't the biggest challenge at that point.
