If you are using the text to speech setting on your phone and it starts sounding strange, like дфсзы it's probably because it's in Cyrillic(self.Blind)

I am not blind but use the text to speech setting on my phone sometimes because I have dyslexia.
I noticed that some people will use the Cyrillic alphabet to get out of being tagged by bots on Reddit. You can say (what looks like) the n word without the n word bot counting it if you replace the e with the Cyrillic look-alike, е.
(Note: I’m using an iPhone so this might be different on different computers.)
This sentence:
The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dogs.
Looks exactly like this sentence:
Тhе quiсk brоwn fох jumреd оvеr thе lаzу dоgs.
But the software may read it differently. You probably already know this, but just in case anyone was confused, this is what’s up with that.

oh my god thank you so much! I was starting to think my google assistant was begining to awaken. It just kinda glitched out and had a weird vvoice sometimes. creeps me out all the time but is really effective in the late night early mourning hours. nothing like reading a creepy pasta about creepy PCs then hearing the normal voice become some sort of mix between a speaknspell and digitized doom

Thanks for clearing that up, it sounds kinda funny. I see that all the time on twitter but have never figured out to recreate it. It does get annoying though sometimes too.

Some people may use their keyboard made for a different language for English. For a while I used my French keyboard for English until I figured out how to change the keyboard in the settings. I don’t know if that makes it harder to read or not, so you tell me:
Right now I’m typing with my English keyboard.
But not I’m typing on my French keyboard.
And now I’m typing on a Polish keyboard.
Now I’m back to English.

Oddly they don't, but I remember I used to type crap on different keyboards to hear how the different letters sounded. Perhaps things changed through the years of ios updates.

The real fun comes when you have to switch between VoiceOver in Russian and VoiceOver in English.
