Google Talkback doesn't read emojis properly in discord and WhatsApp anymore (self.Blind)

Has anyone noticed the recent loss of emojis in WhatsApp and weird pronunciations of emojis in discord with Talkback? Is this just a LG thing or have you guys also noticed this in other devices?

Galaxy s9+ user here. Emojis get read wrong in Discord for me as well. Very irritating. Hope they fix soon. Not sure whether I should yell at Google or Discord. I hate both for different reasons.

It's definitely a Talkback issue as this occurs in other apps as well as discord.

Yes I've also noticed this. No more "face with tears of joy" or "rolling on the floor laughing"
Unsure why it's not working any more but I assume it's happened due to an update maybe. Any ideas on how to fix it

Google has 2 English US voices
The 2nd one is good if you wanna change things up but it sounds weird after a while.
