I believe microagressions towards disabled people are expressed through behaviour, lack of empathy and lack of objectivity rather than by using specific words.

If you want to talk about ableism to your students I suggest you discuss how both the built and virtual environments are constructed without any allowances for people with different abilities.

I really dont think anybody finds them offensive but maybe its just because they're so commonly used
