Accessible parental controls in Google Krome on Mac or Windows? (self.Blind)
submitted by guitarandbooks
My son has been doing the distance learning thing for a while and we found out that this will continue for at least two months when the fall term starts.
Google Krome works the best for the various sites he has to use for his schoolwork. I am really frustrated though with the lack of parental controls for that browser.
When he's using Safari or Edge for example, I can have things locked down pretty tight but Krome just seems to offer nothing.
I am aware of extensions that are supposed to allow you to filter/block/track things but 1, I'm having trouble finding what's safe and reliable, and 2, what's going to be accessible for me as a screen reader user.
I use Krome all the time myself but they really do fall short as far as parental controls are concerned.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
