Any tips for reading out loud? (self.Blind)

I am struggling to find a job in Mexico as a blind person so I want to try doing voice overs.
Right now I can only record one short sentence at a time and it kind of breaks the flow of the recording.
Do you have any tips to read out loud without pausing to identify the sentence I am going to read?

You might be expecting too much of yourself. Really only the top pros cold-read and nail it in the first take. It’s pretty normal to need to read through the script a few times before recording and even then to need to do a few takes, particularly for beginners.

Read it through a few times, then try to give yourself a bit of a buffer by reading few words or even sentence before speaking.nce

Thanks, I have found it difficult to speak when listening at the sametime but I will give it a shot.

I think most people would. This is a good case for braille.

My blind husband uses a Braille and Speak note taker, reading the braille while he records. I found a used one on ebay.

Search for braille notetaker, then Save the search. You can set it up so you will get an email when a new match shows up. Look in the My EBay area, and Save search.

Hi, Blind actor here. I still have enough to very poorly read out loud, but if you want to get work doing this, you're going to have to memorize things, or at the very least, practice sections of text at a time. It's grueling work, but if you're passionate about it, it can be very rewarding.
