This has been a particularly hard time for all of us, you're not alone in that.

The first thing you need to keep in mind is that your doctor is there to help you. Even bad news is important, because it will allow you to make more appropriate decisions. You need to keep up with your appointments.

As far as rehab goes, like I said, it's been tough for everybody. I've been waiting for O&M training and, last I heard, they might open back up in September.

I can't really offer much help, but I can tell you I empathize.

That sounds tough. I’m sorry you’re going through that right now. I’ve been there myself and remember how hopeless it feels. I hope you have a supportive family or friends you can reach out to. Or feel free to reach out to us here if you need to vent.

Re: your worries about people not being able to help you in school, e-mail the Student Services or Academic Support department of your school, and let them know your situation. They may be able to help you by getting you a magnifier, students to take notes for you/help you with assignments, etc.
