As previously noted, cosigners are still liable. If you're alive then you at least have some hope of helping ease that debt. Also 70k isn't that bad. (I have much more lol) Also depending on the loan it COULD be forgiven due to severe and permanent disability. The catch is you can't take out more federal loans.
As for biology degree, have you considered pivoting to computer science? Computational neuroscience is lucrative. And geneticists don't necessarily need vision. Neither do telemedicine therapists. Crisis Hotline for example reaches their clients over text.

Your diagnosis is not a death sentence, many of us have severe impairments, and in some cases multiple.
If the loans are the major factor here, the US government offers a program called a Total and Permanent Discharge, forgiving your existing loans based on your diagnosis. The down side is this will make you ineligible for future student loans. So before taking extreme measures, look into your eligibility for the discharge.
I do have a bias as a suicide survivor, my father took his own life three years ago. "Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem", so before pursuing this line of thought, look into your other options. I was initially very upset by my father's decision, now I am sad that he was in a place emotionally that ending it seemed like a viable solution.
Please think about the lasting effects this will have on your loved ones. You will be missed, leaving a hole in their hearts and psyches. And no parent should have to bury their child.

You'd have to move to a state that has euthanasia, I think either Washington or Oregon and become a resident for x amount of months
But since your parents co-signed your loan they won't be off the hook for paying it so you'd just be causing your parents emotional hardship on top of the financial issues.
Not worth it in my book.
I was diagnosed with stargardts recently as well, sucks bro.
