Seeking more accessible bread machine (self.Blind)
submitted by Serendipitea17
I have a bread machine that beeps whenever one of the buttons on the panel is pressed. I’ve written down what each button does and the menus each cycles through, but sometimes it seems that the machine doesn’t always register a button press, so even when it beeps, I end up at a different setting than I anticipated. I have to use a visual interpreter every time I make bread, which isn’t that difficult, but I would just love to do it independently. All the other machines I have scoped out online similarly rely on digital menus and have a lot more features than I need. Does anyone know of an alternative machine that might be more accessible? Too bad there isn’t one that works with an iPhone app or uses dials that click into place instead of preprogrammed buttons.

ALBOHES Bread Maker can be paired with a smartphone app or Alexa.

There are 6 buttons on the machine, which appear flat (perhaps putting some stickers on them would help). However, it sounds as though all settings can also be chosen through the app, so using the buttons is not necessary.

I'm having a really hard time finding much information on this bread maker, for some reason. If you find a store that sells it, I'd encourage asking for a demonstration, just to make sure the machine and its app are accessible, etc.
