Braille, crossing and covid 19 (self.Blind)

How have people who rely on braille in public been though covid?

Are you worried about cross contamination? Do you avoid using braille signage where you usually would? Are there people actively out there disinfecting?

If you need help in a situation are people more or less inclined to help? (personally it's only in NYC that I've ever had people with visual impairment ask for help to cross the road but are you less lightly to ask now?)

I use public braille so rarely that it's not an issue. There's as much risk on elevator buttons, ATM's etc as for anyone else, sighted or not.
The same with touching people really, I wash my hands regardless, where gloves when out and about, I'd do that whether I could see or not.
