Best text to speech for listening to e-books? (self.Blind)

I know about voice dream but is there one available on PC that sounds really nice? The one I'm using has a tone that ruins the atmosphere of the story.

I recommend both the acapela voices that were previously suggested as well as the windows 10 core voices which can be used with NVDA. Mark and Zira especially are nice. I believe the Ivona voices are technically available, but I'm not sure they're being maintained, and are rather expensive.

And if you use JAWS, you can download Vocalizer Expressive voices for free.

Yeah, I just use the Kindle for PC with NVDA.

I'm an eloquence user too, I have used it for so long that I go faster than "natural" voices can take. And if I want that, I'll use an audiobook anyway.

But the best I've heard, apart from the newer Siri and Wavenet voices, are, Julie and Bridget from Neospeech. They're both available for Windows.
