Recently came across this invention: a musical instrument played by the weather. Called the "Weather Warlock," the synthesizer streams live from New Orleans at $1. Sensors attached to the synth detect temperature, wind, sun, and rain, producing a range of sounds, including special audio events around sunrise and sunset.

That's actually a pretty nice idea. A blind friend of mine frequently asks me about the weather, and I never know what to tell her. Unfortunately it's only one city.
