„Avatar - The Last Airbender“ with audio description (self.Blind)
submitted by SightlessBastard
I think, someone here asked about that show a while ago. Well, Netflix added audio description to the show. I am not completely sure, if all three seasons have it already. But at least the first season should have it. it should be available in all the countries, where the show is on Netflix.
I am pretty happy about that. I always wanted to watch that show with description. I wonder, if there are also plans to add AD to “ The legend of Korra”.
Anyway. I just thought, I should let you know.

Ha, This is great news but unfortunate timing for me as I’ve just finished watching it for the first time whilst being audio described by my partner.

Same, I was watching like 3-4 episodes every week with my SO and our tabletop group and now, a little bit after we finished it, there's AD 🙃

Whilst professional audio description is great, it will never describe Zuko as looking like an edgy boy in a scene.

Yes all three do. IDC did the work apparently. I checked it for myself when I saw a post on Twitter.

Hopefully they do this to Kora too.

The company that provides the audio descriptions confirmed that they are currently working on Kora, so should be available soon.

I wish, Netflix would offer the same version, that is available on Blu-ray. That way, we would get the audio description in 5.1, in case, they have plans to add it.

Finally! I’ve been waiting for this for years! More blind people need to know of Toph’s sassiness.
