That's awesome, but who really reads newspapers nowadays? So easier to just go and read stuff on the internet on your news platform of choice, and I imagine they're terribly chunky.

That's a legitimate question.

This is East Africa we are talking about. A lot of people still have feature phones and only limited mobile internet if any. Younger people in the cities can have access to high speed internet and have smartphones but being disabled often goes hand in hand with not having money to spare for stuff like that.

Older people, even if they can afford a smartphone and mobile internet costs, often struggle with learning how to use smartphones.

There is also a simple pleasure to just sitting down and reading a paper somewhere quite, in the way you have always done.
