Accessible reference management software (self.Blind)
submitted by rp-turtle
Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of a reference management software that works well with jaws? Preferably free. I’ve played around with Zotero. It seems okay but not great. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I do not currently use a screen reader, I cannot comment on that aspect, but I do use JabRef, it is Java based and open source. I use this in conjunction with the magnifier and have increased the font scaling. Integrates with local TeX installations if that matters to you. Good luck with your search.

Similar situation. I've used Mendeley. It works with TeX and has a Word plugin.

It's also free, so it should be worth checking out.
