I realized that I, as a low vision person, was purchasing a specific brand of shampoo and conditioner, because they had different colored pumps, which I could see in the shower. I want to know if other #lowvision or #blind people make accessibilty based decisions when purchasing these products.

I never really bother looking for specific brands for accessibility, I just open the bottle tell them appart from the texture (conditionner is thicker).

Thanks! I have gotten a couple comments to the is effect on the survey! This makes total sence. I wonder though if brands should just make the products have tactile differences so you could skip this step.

Yeah maybe that’d help too! A brand I sometimes buy has different bottle shapes for both - the conditioner bottle is "upside down"

It seems like that should be universal! And they should be different colors for low vision people, and also have text. It seems like a no brainier to include millions of vision impaired people in your product design! I'm not sure why all brands don't incorporate accessible design.

I know right not even just for blind people but also regular ass people who wear glasses too would benefit from it??
