Don't be disheartened. It happens. Im constantly using this app. And the connection sadly is very poor. I've met some wonderful helpers on there. Just keep trying and wait. It'll happen. And thanks for helping us!!

Try not to get down about it. Tech fails happen to everybody from time to time!

This is one of the reasons they should purge all existing helpers and start over with a required, in depth tutorial and some kind of basic test, that way people like you would be allot more likely to receive a call. Way, way too many volunteers that mean well but just have no idea what so ever how to actually help... I know that's going to happen a bit either way since these aren't professionals, and that's fine the app is free after all, but 2 out of 3 times I call I either get hung up on or I end up with someone who actively makes things worse, which just sucks for both of us.

Is BeSpectacle or something like that still around? I used that one instead of Be My Eyes, before Aira existed.
