What about the Apple notes app? It does allow you to sort notes into folders, and if you go into the accessibility settings, you can turn on Zoom or Magnifier and that will enlarge the text.

Not a big fan of the Apple notes app. Also I kind of need something that is quick. Having to go into settings and turn on magnifier is an extra step that I'm trying to avoid. Thanks for the suggestion though. 🙂

I am with you on Apple apps, but then when I wasn't able to use my vision for the task, I really appreciated how the Apple apps are intergrated with siri so I could just use my voice for stuff.

I don't have any iOS devices, but I believe you can set the Magnifier to the accessibility shortcut so you can just triple click the lock button (or home button if you have it):
You said your not a fan of the apple notes app, but it does work with the larger accessible font in the accessibility tab.

Have you tried Google docs? Evernote is cool too but I'm not sure what its accessibility is like. Microsoft 365 is a solid system as well.

Thanks, I didn't think about Google docs that's a good idea. I'm going to go check and see if you can enlarge the font. 🙂

my friend who is blind and a teacher of blind skills really likes google docs, which didn't used to be the most accessible but I guess they made improvements.

The whole suite of Google tools is quite good with speech and braille, be interesting to know how it compares with other tools for large-print users.
