University Project - Inclusive Design (self.Blind)
submitted by mayaszo
Hi everyone!
I’m working on university project, we are designing inclusive kitchen utensils. I have decided to design spice containers for visually impaired. I have created short survey to get more insight. I am personally not blind, so hearing about your experience would be very helpful! Could you please take a part in the survey and if you have any suggestions or ideas posting them in the comments would be very appreciated! $1

Take a look at the maxiaids catalog or another inclusive company. If you can make something they don't provide or can improve an existing product, fantastic. But there's no need to reinvent the wheel. And the community has been inundated in the past with well meaning students in the past asking for surveys, project ideas, or just research they could have conducted with a simple internet search.

It's all been done before.

This has been said many times throughout history. People like OP are those that find ways to innovate. Help them out in trying to help other people.

Possibly, but the linked survey doesn't asked any pertinent questions, just asks for the base info for statistics, age, gender, and VI. Nothing I. There about use of existing products, or experiences with kitchen aids.

a simple way would be putting braille on containers along with large print.
