Your survey wasn't designed very well.

You didn't specify either in this post or on the survey why people would find a special banking app useful and whether this project is just targeting users with low vision, but from the questions it seems that this is the case. Make this post clearer if necessary.

Normally demographic questions come first, but the first question isn't a demographic question.

Your next question asks about types of visual impairment, but doesn't account for blindness. In addition, most surveys ask about a person's level of vision, not how it manifests itself.

Your question about jobs is very STEM-centered and not representative of the job market or the jobs that people with visual impairments tend to hold, which is often no job. It is very likely that you won't get any respondents who are doctors or dentsts; I'm not going to say why.

On the next screen, you ask us to skip the first question if we don't think the apps you've listed are easy to use, but it isn't possible to do this since the next few questions are required. I hadn't heard of most of these apps, so I needed to answer about apps in general. The "Other" field in the first question of the second page is unclear. Why are popular apps like Seeing AI not included on this list?

I got stuck on the third screen. Your images lack meaningful captions and there is no option for blind users.

Why would you implement dark mode when accessibility features and/or system settings can achieve this?

I couldn't complete this survey because, as a blind person, the questions on the third screen were not applicable or accessible to me.

I don't think you've provided the correct link.

I’m so sorry, just fixed the problem. We forgot to change the settings to allow for people outside of our university to fill it in.
Thanks for the comment.
