Here is my list:

computer

completely accessible no assistance required:

\*sequence storm (a rhythm racing game, hit the notes more accurately in order to go faster and beat your opponents in races, also there is a campaign mode)

\*skullgirls: A 2d (I think?) anime fighting game, the combo system is very interesting and it is rather fast-paced.

\*warsim: the realm of aslona (a terminal game which simulates you are the king of a medieval kingdom

\*code 7 (a hacking agme, sorry, I don't know much about it

slay the spire (via a mod) where card games and roguelies fuse together to make an amazing very strategy-based RPG

parcially accessible, but playable enough it's worth it:

\*mortal kombat 9, x, 11, especially the last two, as the first one has a strange bug with the audio, it doesn't pan properly, a 2d fighting game in which you select your character and then perform various combos, attacks, and secial moves on your opponent, finishing in a variety of deadly ways such as a fatality and a brutality. Sighted people's reaction to this game tends to be going into shock for about 15 seconds at seeing a fatality (that's what my brother did and some other people had similar reactions) and the sounds are very gory in my opinion! Story mode too, contains vulgar language and very very much violence.

wii

\*wii sports (boxing is completely accessible, the others kind of, a collection of sport games, including tennis, boxing, bowling and two others.

\*super smash bros brawl (not sure which edition) a 2d fighting game containing lots of different characters from various nintendo games

playstation 4:

\*the lsat of us 2

\*mortal kombat 9/10/11, keep in mind the audio panning bug is not present for MK9 on the PS4.

\*injustice gods among us/2

note: the wii ones and the computer ones require some memorization in order to be used well.

Also, for sequence storm, I released a special program. Keep this running and you can change the option that says narate to clipboard to on, and then the speech will come out of nvda and be much faster.

Download it here:

$1

It is called clippa speaka (cringe I know, I made it when I was younger and no longer have the source in order to rename it)

Those are just the ones I could think of right now, maybe I will think of more in the morning. But as someone else said here, the $1 forum also has many games that you can download that other people have found to be accessible.

Hope this helps!

I've been playing Baba is You with magnification. It's puzzle game you can play at your own place.

Code 7 - Goodwolf is also fully accessible and playable. And I’ll second Sequence Storm. You may also have luck with the Jackbox Partypack series of games (especially from 5 and up), the reason being newer titles are played in a web browser, and game items are also displayed on the webpage. On 7, you can even get the room code spoken to you, instead of having to use OCR. That being said, setting options for games can be challenging because you don’t know the state of a switch, and far from all games are fully accessible. Additionally, scores, correct answers, and players are commonly not comveyed through speech or sound either.

The forums at audiogames.net are also another good place to discuss this.
Generally though, several fighting games like Injustice, Killer Instinct, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Skullgirls can be played with a high amount of success, especially when using decent stereo speakers/headphones.

Beatemups and shootemups like streets of rage or Shank can be played with some memorization.

Rhythm games like Space Channel 5 or Rhythm Heaven Fever are popular choices too...

And even a couple of FPS style games, like Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies, and The Last of us II can be played with good success.

But I don't even own a console or a controller, so all of this is third party knowledge which is why you should ask the people who know. LOL

we have a commmunity on here r/VIGaming which has discussion about stuff like this - I find some games rts/rpg more accesible when it has ZT overlay - not all games do, i find FPS impossible to play tbh, but if you have any questions about specific games ask on there and someone should get back to you!

PC games can be a little tricky and i find coupling with an XBOX controller a bit more tactilly helpful - also new games tend to have audio built in, some of the oldschool JRPGs are text based and can be really difficult to pick up via speech recognition. With newer games finding things can be difficult for me due to low fields, unless they sparkle or are obvious in the environment.
