Anyone here a mac user who uses vmware fusion? (self.Blind)
submitted by RJHand
Trying to use NVDA in a windows 10 vm but if I try to type in the start menu I just hear the boomp boomp sound mac os makes when you push something that makes an error or whatever. If that makes any sense.
Any tips? How do I give the vm keyboard control. Voiceover obviously won't work in the vm window so I have no idea if I'm focused somewhere I shouldn't be maybe? Weird.

Hi there just curious to know first of all, why virtual machine? Why not Bootcamp? Any specific reason?
The reason why I'm asking this because virtual machine you will have issues you will have to re-map the keyboard specially the, capsLockkey IT WILL NOT WORK WITH SCREEN READERS SUCH AS nvda jfw etc, USING SHARPkeys, now to your issue just turn off VoiceOver when in that virtual machine window, then tab couple of times normally use it it will work

I need to use both operating systems in parallel so bootcamp is not an option.
