So basically you want Aftershokz Aeropex. I don't think anybody's built bone conducting headphones with accelerometers and gyros for apps like Microsoft soundscape, so you could innovate there. AirPods Pro do it, but I'd rather not be wearing a "please rob me" sign in public. I don't think a one-sided bone conducting earphone would even work. They need to press against your skull in order to effectively transmit the vibrations. Making them work exclusively for screen reader speech /might/ work on iphone, but piping speech to a specific audio source isn't a thing in Talkback for Android.

PC useable?

Sounds great. I'll second the comfort thing, what I want is something I can stick on there, however it sticks on, and forget about it.

Battery life is a thing too. USB charging or bust.

Is charging a phone considered difficult? We were thinking of adding a wireless charging feature to make it more convenient but the problem is that the price would have to be hiked up.

It's not difficult at all, it's just that in a situation where you are often carrying gadgets, it's really valuable to be able to carry one charger for everything. I suspect that's true for anyone, really.

I don't know. It sounds possibly useful but there are of course naturally some concerns. How will it affect how I hear the rest of my environment? I've never used any type of bone conduction device so I have no idea what that even means. Is it annoying? Will it get caught in my hair or earrings? With with moving around all day is it going to chaf in anyway? As my vision gets worse I am understanding one thing clearly; if it doesn't feel good, it no longer gets worn. That applies not only to clothing but any accessory that I own. If it pinches, pokes, or just generally feels bad, it's just not going to happen. I have enough time stuck in my head I might as well have my body feeling damn good.

It's actually Aftershokz.

I like this idea. It would be great to use when walking around while using navigation apps like Microsoft Soundscape.

I'd buy one of these immediately! :)
How does it attach, I mean what holds it in place?
