I love Audible as they have high-quality recordings and full cast book exclusives, but also get audiobooks from Bard and Overdrive.

For university I have to read a lot of theory books, and text books which in my experience so far have not been extremely accessible through audiobooks. So I usually try to find a PDF version and use my screen reader. Or if it’s not accessible to my screen reader ( which sadly enough happens often) then I use an OCR converter.

Why isn't the Disabled Students Office pulling their weight?
poochbrah 2 points 2y ago
I use audible.

Have you ever used eBraille or Talking books Library?
poochbrah 1 points 2y ago
I haven't, sorry.

At that point scanning stuff in is easier or using ibooks or kindle and either I read it in braille or use voice over or a screen reader. I honestly prefer braille anyway. I’ve scanned in over 70 or so books. I have a few more here I need to get around to scan.

Bard, Bookshare, and Youtube sometimes lolol. Kindle every once in a while, but not often. I used to have Audible but it's kind of pricey so don't anymore.

Youtube or torrents.

Have you ever visited a Library for the blind?
bradley22 1 points 2y ago
Kind of, I’ve been to the RNIB in London.

So why not use their library and stay on the good side of the law?
bradley22 0 points 2y ago
They have free narrated audiobooks but I’m not interested.

As for the law, I don’t care for legal laws when it comes to this stuff.
