Hi all! This is my third - and maybe last - update on my macular mess. The retinal specialist reviewed my imaging and stuff some more over the weekend, and decided NOT to refer me further. He suspects MEWDS, an inflammatory condition that caused my immune system to attack my retina. The good news is that it's not considered progressive (though the fact I show the damage in both eyes miiiight point to the recurring form, but even that would never reach "blinding" levels of damage AFAIK) and my vision could even clear up or heal completely over time! Don't know if that gives me the boot from the blind sub (I may still need to snag some low vision tips!) but I definitely wanna thank everyone who shared their experiences and talked me off the ledge. You guys are the best!
