How Does This Meme Make You Feel? (self.Blind)

I'm sighted and my mom (sighted, as is my entire family and extended family) shared this meme on Facebook today featuring a hamster (or other small rodent, I'm not sure) that has on dark sunglasses and is holding a tiny cane and the text at the top reads "How My Family Walks Past A Sink Full Of Dishes". How does this make you feel? I know some blind people and this just gives me mixed feelings. It's a hamster, so at least it's not a human, but then with the tiny cane and glasses, it just feels a little awkward. What do you think?

I'm visually impaired, not completely blind, but many of my friends and family will send me memes like this. Every so often one will make me a little mad, mainly if it relates more to being visually impaired. Overall though I don't find memes like that very off putting. I'm always down for a good joke as long as it's light hearted. As for that meme specifically, that doesn't make me mad or anything since I walk past the sink without doing the dishes anyways. I can't speak for anyone else though.

Anyone who's bothered by that sort of stuff has an incredibly fragile ego.
The most important thing to understand is that blind people can't do the dishes anyway. Nor vacuum, nor laundry, nor anything else housework related. Completely impossible. It's so tragic. Sob.

I think it's funny, but like I've said before, it depends on context. Send that as a joke, and you're good. Send that as an insult, and I'm going to be angry.

Ok, I like it, would be better if I could "read" the meme for myself instead of always having them described to me. I don't mind blind jokes, however you could make a meme with a blind hampster with a cane or guide dog by one side and a cloth by the other jk.
