I have two tattoos. The main one is "Geronimo" in Doctor Who Gallifreyan which looks like a circle with lines and dots in it. Two of the dots I converted into a semicolon as a reminder of my close call with suicide, with the dates of the attempt and the date that I finally got my disability on the edges. I plan to add a phoenix wing to it to represent my current choice to rebirth myself.
And to make my counterpoint, I also have "Ni." from Monty Python and the Holy Grail on the other arm, to remind me never to take things too seriously.

I was inspired by a friend, but I want to get paw prints to represent my love for my pets. Not quite sure what other tattoos I want

I have one on my left calf of the outline of texas with stripes of different watercolor lines going through it making up a rainbow. Both of these things represent something who I am… I’m always going to be a Texan and I was finally able to except myself as gay. It’s also super special to me because one of my friends actually designed it for me.

The initials of a partner who passed away. Planning to get a cross with flowers to represent my mom & grandma.

Right ankle: paw print with stars - for my various pets, Robin Williams quote above it - memorial when he died.
Left calf: TARDIS from Doctor Who - the show got me through some dark times.
Right bicep: Care Bear tummy symbol (Harmony Bear 3 hearts) - first tattoo, probably should have put more thought into it, but I don't regret it. I collect the 80s care bears, would consider cover up as the ink has not held.
Chest/over heart: cartoonish flower that's stem forms "mum".
Left shoulder/back: maple leaf intersecting a heart as I lived in Canada for 18 months, again would consider cover up for same reason as above.
Left wrist: the names, paw prints and medallion numbers of my first and second guide dogs. When they passed I had castings of their paws made and shrunk to pendant size, the artist digitally scanned them for the outline. Chose placement as they guided on the left and I need them with me. This is definitely the most meaningful and helped me dealing with their deaths.
I can see the one on my wrist if I bring it close enough, the others I can't. All can be covered easily. I got them for myself and if I'm not in the mood to have them on display no problem. I know they're there.
I absolutely want more, but it's not a cheap way of self expression. I do intend to add my current and future guides to my left arm.

I'm speaking on behalf of another blind person but they got a Celtic cross on thier arm. Also, a black raven holding a black rose in his claws, on his back shoulder.
