I'd really recommend going to an eye specialist with that. The eyes are a very complex system and a self diagnosis over the internet would not be trustworthy. And I would recommend a trustworthyand competent diagnosis as soon as possible, if something bad is happening the longer you wait the more lasting damage could accumulate.

Wish you the best and hope it is in fact something beneficial!

Hi. I want to let you know this is not the place for medical advice, but everybody here wants you to be OK.

Please let your parents or guardians know what happened and what you're experiencing.

Ask them to take you to an ophthalmologist. An optometrist is mostly a technician; an ophthalmologist is a doctor who specializes in eyes and vision. Insurance companies sometimes don't cover optometrists, but they do cover ophthalmologists.

Even if you're "better" now, pain and redness are obviously bad things. A doctor will want to examine you and figure out what happened and what's going on.

Sorry but asking for medical advice here is not allowed.

You should talk to your parents or guardian so they can take you to see a trained physician.

Well you said you were a young kid?
You see the eyes dont stop developing and changing shape until you hit 22/23 years of age so yeah that means also that your eyesight can be afected by this because of the changes in size in your "Corneas" (the transparent front part of the eye) normally this means having to use glasess but its not unheard of people acctually having problems with their eyesight and then recuperating in some degree by themselves.
Either way you should probably get that checked by a doctor just to be sure.
