Do you want people to resent accessibility?

I'm not even going to bother reading this, however, if you had told me "signed a petition for Twitter to make an option to add alt text" then I would have given you the time of day.

I'm not going to sign this because that's forcing someone to do something they may not want to do. As nice as accessibility is; I'd never force it on anyone. Plus, twitter already has the abiloty to add alt text as far as I know.

Why though?
I personally get by just fine with or without it, I'm not too butthurt when its not added like some people are, its not a requirement. Just use god damn OCR. Even sighted people don't see what pictures are exactly all of the time, why should we? The inaccuracy of OCR apps some of the time makes it more interesting when alt text isn't available. Its also more like seeing a picture with OCR.

Who are you anyway and what do you think you know?

I highly disagree with this and think you’re doing the wrong thing.
