Science fiction YouTube series that is blind friendly. (self.Blind)

Starting Tuesday November 23ed to Monday November 30th I will be uploading a Blind and hard of hearing friendly series called "Captain's Log: Galactic Police" Everything will be spoken and described. IF you are interested I would love to have all of you along for this series.

That is a really good video idea. I have a question, though. When you say the videos are suitable for Blind and Deaf people, do you mean DeafBlind people, or Deaf or Blind people. I am DeafBlind, and was just curious. Either way, it is an awesome idea.
Edit: Also, some people don’t like the word hearing impaired. It is a safer bet to go with Deaf, or Hard of Hearing.

I am not sure about Deaf and Blind. It is good for the Deaf because everything is spelt out on screen and the blind because everything is spoken. I am not sure how it work if you have both impairments. Most of the audio is not done threw YouTube Captioning but rather is displayed on screen. Do you use YouTube and if so how can one make videos that you can enjoy? I do not know if I can do your suggestions right away, but I will keep it in mind.

Transcripts! I'm not even deafblind, but it's fun to read through transcripts and it helps me skip around in the video. On YouTube, you get a transcript automatically through the captioning system, and you can see it by clicking the more button (the ... next to the save button). You can always post it separately too, like lots of podcasts do.

How is this any better then say audible or finding stuff on youtube or already had services for the blind?

Well either you like the story and want to invest your time or you do not like the story and you do not. Just spend time on what you like. This is just an option for you if you do like the story.
