Hello everyone. I am happy to be here. I am new to Reddit and I thought I would introduce myself. My name is ladrea, I am 18 years old and blind. My eye condition is retinopathy of prematurity. I’ve heard about reddit and I decided to try it out for myself. I’ve heard so many great things about it. Looking forward to being here :-). Some other things about me, I love to write, and I absolutely love music. I play instruments like the piano, I also love to sing.

Definitely :) even if we all have different experiences I think it’s cool to meet others with the same/similar condition. What’s your experiences with ROP if you don’t mind me asking?

Well my favorite genre of music outside of Broadway would have to be pop and R&B music. As for plays and musicals, I love Hamilton and wicked. Heathers is also a good musical as well

Well, I love to play the piano. I’ve been playing since I was three or four. I also forgot to mention I’m a girl by the way LOL, I also love singing. And listening to music is pretty fun to :-). I Love lots of theater and Broadway

Well, with me I have light perception in my right eye, which means that I can see light and shadows. In my left eye I can’t see anything at all. I was born three months premature, and that’s usually how you develop it. And I agree, it’s pretty cool to find people with the same disability or visual impairments, but at the same time it’s great to find people who are different from You to

That’s interesting. I was born 23 weeks early. I can’t describe my vision haha. I just really like learning about people’s experience in general :P What do you like to do for fun?
