I can't really do any long interviews, but here's a little info from me, a very active youtube user and fairly large channel (by ratio of my target audience (blind people))

I tend to watch blind people's channels, but I also do watch videos of people reading stuff from r/entitledparents, and other similar stuff.. I would honestly say the navigation on youtube is fine, it doesn't need any improvements, however it does work best on mobile devices rather than on pc for some cases (on android, though, I'm forced to scroll down quite far to look in the comments section, which can be tiresome but isn't that much of a problem)
As to the video creation side, it's quite easy as well. I go to
$1 and then I use OBS to start a stream )or sometimes just start a recording) and it does all the work. Using OBS, I can capture the audio of the device I'm on (my laptop or my computer) similar to how you might capture a screen, but with sound.
The OBS program isn't 100% accessible, but the small part that isn't obvious is not difficult to figure out thanks to tutorials, people have posted some good ones in the articles room on the
$1 forum.
Then if they are recordings rather than streams I can upload them and there is no problem with choosing all the required elements I might want, and - if necessary, editing or deleting my videos (a few from 2018 have suffered this fate for reasons such as, cringe, cringe, and cringe)

Hope this helps!
