Edge Chromium Favorites (self.Blind)
submitted by dunktheball
This is getting really annoying. A recent update in Microsoft's chromium version of Edge has made it where websites are cut off at the bottom of the favorites menu that comes up when you click the favorites button.

Basically, larger fonts cause it to happen. So i scroll down the favorites list and then can't get to the bottom 3 favorites.

If I go the manage favorites page and lower zoom on that page, it makes the fonts smaller in the favorites menu. This make all sites finally show up again, but is then tiny fonts.

As a workaround, I could maybe move half of them to the other favorites folder, where not as many sites are on one page, but regardless that would be annoying and this is really bugging me.

edit: ok to temporarily fix I added a few links to new pages, renamed them with a z in front of their names to force them to the bottom when arranging alphabetically, and so now the ones off the screen are ones I won't often need...

From Microsoft's community; "in case you find any bug or you have any feedback, open Microsoft Edge and press Alt+Shift+I , it shall opens Feedback form and you may share feedback and bugs directly with the team."

I hope they respond.

I remember liking the old Spartan Edge, but I had to stop using it, because it would misbehave when zoning into pages. I guess old habits die hard...

Thanks. I thought there was a way to officially report it like that!

Yes, really any Microsoft browser has so many issues for people who want big fonts. I usually manage to get it functioning well enough, but always some annoying issues, as well. And sometimes I have to lower the zoom so much to get a page to work well that I get a headache trying to read tiny fonts. Sigh.

Right. I've generally given up on setting font sizes or even changing display scaling, because both cause issues with most sites and programs. I just zoom the whole screen...

This is another reason I should try various zooming programs.

On Windows I use both the built-in magnifier and this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/zoomit
